SGC / JIBU is seeking a results-driven professional to join its Jibu Division as Business Development and Marketing Personnel. The successful candidate will be responsible for expanding Jibu's customer, fuel station, and merchant networks while driving sales, platform adoption, brand visibility, and business growth.
The role combines business development, sales, marketing, partnership management, customer onboarding, and relationship management, with a strong focus on achieving measurable commercial targets.
The Business Development and Marketing Personnel will identify and develop new business opportunities by recruiting customers, partner fuel stations, merchants, and service providers onto the Jibu platform.
The successful candidate will also demonstrate Jibu's fuel management solutions to prospective clients, support customer onboarding and training, negotiate commercial partnerships, and maintain strong relationships with existing clients and business partners.
The position requires a proactive and target-oriented professional who is comfortable with extensive customer engagement, presentations, negotiations, networking, and travel.
Identify, approach, and onboard transporters, logistics companies, corporates, SMEs, NGOs, and other institutions onto the Jibu platform.
Conduct presentations and demonstrations of Jibu's fuel management solutions to prospective customers.
Develop and maintain a pipeline of potential customers and business opportunities.
Support new customers through the onboarding and platform registration process.
Identify and recruit third-party fuel stations to join the Jibu partner network.
Engage prospective fuel station partners and explain the commercial and operational benefits of joining the network.
Negotiate commissions, commercial terms, and operational agreements with partner stations.
Maintain strong relationships with existing fuel station partners.
Identify and recruit merchant stores and service providers to expand the Jibu ecosystem.
Target businesses such as auto spares shops, supermarkets, restaurants, truck service centres, and other relevant service providers.
Negotiate commission structures and partnership agreements with merchants.
Identify additional opportunities to expand the range of products and services available through Jibu.
Promote and position Jibu as a leading fuel management and digital commerce platform locally and internationally.
Support and execute marketing campaigns, activations, exhibitions, and awareness programmes.
Identify new markets and business opportunities that can contribute to revenue growth.
Strengthen Jibu's visibility among customers, businesses, and strategic partners.
Train customers and business partners on effective use of the Jibu platform.
Assist customers with onboarding, system setup, and transaction processes.
Provide ongoing support to customers and partners during platform adoption.
Work with operational teams to address issues affecting customer experience.
Meet and exceed monthly sales, customer acquisition, fuel-volume, and revenue targets.
Monitor business development activities and customer acquisition performance.
Prepare accurate weekly and monthly sales and marketing reports.
Track customer, partner, and merchant growth against established targets.
Build and maintain strong relationships with customers, fuel stations, merchants, and other key stakeholders.
Conduct regular customer and partner visits.
Identify additional business opportunities through existing relationships.
Maintain a high level of customer engagement and retention.
Ensure customer engagements and partnership agreements comply with company policies and applicable legal requirements.
Support operational teams in resolving customer and partner issues.
Maintain professional and compliant business-development practices throughout the customer and partner acquisition process.
Performance in the role will be measured against key commercial and customer-development indicators, including:
Number of new customer signups per month.
Number of partner fuel stations successfully onboarded.
Number of merchants successfully onboarded.
Monthly fuel transaction volumes.
Achievement of revenue growth targets.
Customer retention levels.
Brand visibility and engagement metrics.
Client training completion rates.
