Afrikula Engineering Services Limited is seeking motivated and enthusiastic CNC Operator Trainees / Attachments to join its engineering team in Sabina. This opportunity is designed for recent graduates looking to gain practical experience in CNC machining, machine operation, manufacturing processes, and workshop safety while working alongside experienced professionals.
Assist in setting up and operating CNC machines under supervision.
Learn CNC machining processes and machine programming basics.
Support the production of precision-engineered components.
Monitor machine performance and report operational issues.
Read and interpret engineering drawings and specifications.
Prepare materials and tooling required for machining operations.
Perform basic machine maintenance and housekeeping duties.
Ensure tools and equipment are properly handled and stored.
Inspect machined components for quality and dimensional accuracy.
Follow workshop safety procedures and company policies.
Maintain a clean and organized work environment.
Adhere to quality assurance standards throughout production activities.
Participate in on-the-job training and mentorship programmes.
Develop practical skills in CNC machining and manufacturing processes.
Learn industry best practices in engineering and production.
Support other workshop activities as assigned by supervisors.
Applicants should possess:
Mechanical Fitter Artisanal Diploma and Advanced Certificate from NORTEC, TVTC, or any other TEVETA-accredited institution.
Must have graduated not later than 2025.
The ideal candidate should have:
1–5 years of relevant engineering or workshop experience.
Previous exposure to CNC machining or manufacturing processes will be an added advantage.
The successful candidate should demonstrate:
Basic understanding of mechanical engineering principles.
Willingness to learn CNC machine operation and programming.
Good technical and problem-solving skills.
Ability to read engineering drawings.
Strong attention to detail and quality.
Good communication and teamwork skills.
Ability to work under minimal supervision.
Commitment to safety and continuous learning.

Be between 23 and 28 years of age.
