2026 Civil Service Commission Recruitment of 2,035 Health Workers – Ministry of Health Zambia
The Civil Service Commission has announced the 2026 Recruitment of 2,035 Health Workers on behalf of the Ministry of Health. Applications are invited from suitably qualified and unemployed Zambian health professionals who wish to serve in public health institutions across the country.
This nationwide recruitment exercise aims to strengthen the delivery of healthcare services by recruiting professionals across a wide range of medical, nursing, laboratory, pharmacy, environmental health, mental health, and allied health disciplines.
Successful applicants will be deployed to districts across Zambia based on the needs of the Ministry of Health and the applicant's preferred district, where possible.

Eligibility Requirements
Applicants must:
- Be a Zambian citizen with a valid National Registration Card (NRC).
- Possess a full Grade 12 School Certificate or equivalent.
- Hold relevant professional qualifications from recognised training institutions.
- Be duly registered and licensed by the relevant professional regulatory body where applicable.
- Be unemployed in the Civil Service at the time of application.
- Be 18 years or older but below 45 years of age.
Required Application Documents
Applicants should submit the following documents:
- Application letter clearly indicating the professional cadre being applied for.
- Preferred district of deployment (or preferred province where applicable).
- Certified copies of academic and professional qualifications.
- Certified copy of a valid National Registration Card (NRC).
- Valid practising licence where applicable.
- Professional registration certificate where applicable.
- Any additional supporting documents where relevant, including disability certification from the Zambia Agency for Persons with Disabilities (ZAPD), if applicable.
