Job Overview

National Milling Corporation Limited is inviting applications from qualified, reliable, and professional candidates for the position of Truck Driver based at its Livingstone Branch. The successful candidate will be responsible for transporting finished products safely and efficiently while ensuring compliance with road safety regulations and company transport policies.

The ideal candidate should have excellent driving skills, a strong safety record, and the ability to deliver products on schedule.

Key Responsibilities

• Transport finished products from manufacturing warehouses to retail outlets and distribution centres.

• Conduct daily vehicle inspections to identify mechanical faults and safety issues.

• Perform routine preventative maintenance checks and report any defects.

• Plan delivery routes to ensure timely and efficient deliveries.

• Comply with all road traffic regulations, including vehicle weight limits, route restrictions, parking regulations, and mandatory rest periods.

• Operate trucks safely during loading and unloading operations.

• Collect, verify, and follow delivery instructions accurately.

• Complete delivery documentation and maintain accurate transport records.

• Report accidents, vehicle defects, incidents, or traffic violations promptly.

• Ensure the cleanliness and proper condition of the assigned vehicle.

Qualifications & Requirements

Applicants should possess:

• Full Grade 9 or Grade 12 School Certificate.

• Valid PSV or CE Truck Driver's Licence.

• Minimum of three (3) years' relevant truck driving experience.

• Good knowledge of road traffic regulations and transport procedures.

• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.

• Good interpersonal and communication skills.

• Willingness to commence work as soon as possible.
