About the Internship
The Energy Regulation Board (ERB), established under the Energy Regulation Act No. 12 of 2019, is inviting applications from dynamic and qualified graduates for the position of Uniform Petroleum Price (UPP) Intern. The internship offers an opportunity to support the implementation of the Uniform Petroleum Price (UPP) function through field data collection, reconciliation, and reporting.
Job Purpose
To provide operational support to the Uniform Petroleum Price (UPP) function by assisting with petroleum delivery data collection, verification, and reporting.
Key Responsibilities
Assist with the preparation of field schedules.
Conduct physical visits to assigned retail sites across the country to collect petroleum delivery information.
Capture delivery information using JotForm and other designated systems.
Obtain copies or images of delivery notes, invoices, goods received notes, and other supporting documents.
Upload delivery notes and supporting documents to Google Drive.
Support the reconciliation of delivery data with information submitted by Oil Marketing Companies.
Prepare daily progress reports indicating assigned, completed, visited, and outstanding sites.
Perform any other duties assigned by the supervisor.
Minimum Qualifications
Applicants must possess:
Full Grade 12 School Certificate or equivalent.
Bachelor's Degree in one of the following or a related field:
Statistics
Mathematics
Economics
Business Administration
Demography
Computer Science
Social Sciences
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel will be an added advantage.
Applicants must have graduated on or after 1st January 2023.
