The Brewery Logistics Manager is responsible for leading brewery logistics operations by ensuring efficient warehousing, inventory management, distribution planning, fleet coordination, and customer service. The successful candidate will oversee logistics performance, drive continuous improvement initiatives, optimize costs, and lead cross-functional teams to ensure the safe and timely movement of products.
Lead brewery warehouse operations to ensure efficient inventory management.
Ensure accurate stock control, inventory reconciliation, and product availability.
Monitor warehouse productivity and implement continuous improvement initiatives.
Ensure compliance with inventory management procedures and company standards.
Manage logistics planning to ensure timely product distribution.
Coordinate transportation, fleet utilization, and delivery scheduling.
Ensure customer orders are fulfilled accurately and on time.
Optimize logistics processes to improve service levels and operational efficiency.
Collaborate with production, sales, and supply chain teams to meet business requirements.
Ensure excellent customer service by maintaining high order fulfilment standards.
Monitor delivery performance and resolve customer service issues promptly.
Maintain strong relationships with customers and internal stakeholders.
Drive initiatives to improve customer satisfaction and operational performance.
Ensure strict adherence to approved logistics, warehouse, fleet, and inventory budgets.
Align accountability with package owners and operational teams.
Take overall responsibility for Brewery Logistics expenditure, including VLC, ZBB, SCOH, and CAPEX.
Monitor expenditure on a weekly and monthly basis against the General Ledger (GL).
Lead, coach, mentor, and develop logistics personnel.
Align shop floor teams with business goals and continuous improvement initiatives.
Conduct monthly one-on-one performance review meetings.
Maintain healthy industrial relations through documented Service Level Agreement (SLA) meetings.
Promote open communication through employee engagement meetings.
Address engagement survey findings with corrective action plans.
Support recruitment, succession planning, and talent development.
Conduct performance reviews, disciplinary processes where necessary, and provide continuous coaching and feedback.
Applicants should possess:
Bachelor's Degree or higher qualification in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or another related field.
The ideal candidate should have:
Minimum 5 years' experience in FMCG, distribution, or supply chain planning at a managerial level.
Experience managing warehouse operations, transportation, and logistics teams.
Proven experience driving operational improvements and cost optimization.
