About the Company
Simeza Sangwa & Associates is seeking a qualified and experienced Corporate Lawyer to join its team. The successful candidate will provide legal advisory support across corporate, commercial, and regulatory matters and work closely with internal and external stakeholders.
About the Role
The Corporate Lawyer will provide legal advice on a broad range of commercial, corporate, and regulatory matters. The position requires an experienced Advocate who can work independently while effectively supporting clients and collaborating with relevant stakeholders.
Minimum Qualifications and Experience
Applicants should possess:
Minimum 3 years' post-admission experience as an Advocate.
Demonstrated experience serving as in-house legal counsel or providing dedicated in-house legal advisory services.
Experience in the energy, petroleum, downstream oil and gas sector will be an added advantage.
Proven ability to advise on a broad range of commercial, corporate, and regulatory legal matters.
Strong ability to work independently while effectively collaborating with internal and external stakeholders.

Strong corporate and commercial law knowledge.
Excellent legal research and analytical skills.
Ability to provide practical and commercially focused legal advice.
Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Excellent stakeholder-management abilities.

Professional integrity, attention to detail, and sound judgement.
