MWSC is inviting suitably qualified and experienced candidates to join its operations across Chingola, Mufulira and Chililabombwe in various technical, engineering, management, administrative and operational positions.
MWSC is recruiting for a range of positions covering engineering, ICT, customer services, estates, administration, meter reading and general technical support.
The available opportunities provide career paths for professionals, technicians and support staff with qualifications ranging from Grade 12 certificates to bachelor's degrees and relevant professional memberships.
Minimum Qualifications & Experience
Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or equivalent.
At least 5 years' relevant experience.
Membership with the Information and Communication Technology Association of Zambia (ICTAZ).
Minimum Qualifications & Experience
Degree in a Business-related field.
At least 5 years' experience in customer service management.
Strong customer-service and leadership capabilities.
Minimum Qualifications & Experience
Degree in Civil Engineering, Water Engineering or related field.
Registration with the Engineering Registration Board (ERB).
Membership with the Engineering Institution of Zambia (EIZ).
At least 5 years' relevant experience.

Degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering or related field.

Experience in fieldwork, customer service, meter reading or data collection will be an advantage.

Basic knowledge of plumbing, electrical, mechanical and/or civil works.
Applicants for the engineering positions should have the relevant professional registrations and memberships specified for their respective positions.
Engineering applicants should also be able to drive a manual motor vehicle.
Candidates should demonstrate strong technical knowledge, problem-solving ability, teamwork and commitment to safety and professional standards.
Successful candidates will work across MWSC operations in Chingola, Mufulira and Chililabombwe.
Depending on the position, duties may involve office-based work, engineering and infrastructure projects, water distribution networks, maintenance activities, field operations, customer service and other operational environments.
Engineering and technical personnel should be prepared for field-based activities and practical work associated with water supply and sanitation infrastructure.
